At Ritter Farms, our goal is to grow and produce the healthiest food we can for our family, our friends, and our customers.  Over the years, we have seen the dangers of mass production of food which includes the use of steroids, hormones, and chemicals in poultry and meat production.  We have watched foodbourne illnesses, like e-coli and salmonella, increase as we purchase more and more food from third world countries.
It makes perfect sense that we get as much of our food as possible from local sources.  Information that we have shared on our Ritter Farms' Back to the Farm Hour has been uploaded to this page.  You can play each file by clicking the "Play" button in front of each title. If you have questions, you can call us at (865) 767-2575 or e-mail nancy@ritterfarms.com.
Remember, "Healthy eating starts at the farm."
