At Ritter Farms, our goal is to grow and produce the healthiest food we can for our family, our friends, and our customers.  Over the years, we have seen the dangers of mass production of food which includes the use of steroids, hormones, and chemicals in poultry and meat production.  We have watched foodbourne illnesses, like e-coli and salmonella, increase as we purchase more and more food from third world countries.
It makes pervect sense that we get as much of our food as possible from local sources.  In the weeks to come, we will be sharing information with our "Back to the Farm Hour" listeners concerning food they can purchase locally.  We'll have new information on Healthy Eating each Tuesday.  You can tune in on WCXZ 740 AM in Harrogate, TN from 12 to 1 PM, Monday - Friday or WMTN 1300 AM in Morristown 12 to 1 PM, Monday - Saturday.  If you are out of the area, you can go to our Radio Show page for live streaming on either station.
If you miss a segment, you can listen online.  Each segment will be posted below. Just click on the link below the picture.  If you have questions, you can call us at (865) 767-2575,
Remember, "Healthy eating starts at the farm."
